Privacy policy
This policy explains what data Resumark ("we") collects when you use the Resumark app for iPhone and iPad and the web app at app.resumark.app, and what we do with it. Resumark is operated by RRDL Limited. Contact: support@resumark.app.
What we collect
- Account data. A random account ID. If you sign in with Apple, your Apple user ID and, if you choose to share them, your name and email (which may be an Apple private relay address).
- Resume content. The resumes you create or import, job posts you paste, and the results of matches and AI suggestions.
- Usage data. How many AI actions you used today, and basic technical logs (IP address, time, error messages) kept for security and debugging.
- Purchases. If you subscribe, Apple and our subscription provider tell us whether your subscription is active. We never see your card details.
We do not collect your contacts, location, photos (other than a file you choose to import) or advertising identifiers, and we do not sell personal data.
How we use it
- To store your resumes and show them on your devices.
- To run the AI features you request: importing a file, writing or improving text, scoring a job match, tailoring and cover letters.
- To enforce fair-use limits and protect the service from abuse.
- To answer support requests.
AI processing
When you use an AI feature, the relevant resume text, file or job post is sent to a large language model through OpenRouter, Inc., which routes it to the model provider (for example Anthropic). Under their API terms, this data is used to generate the response and is not used to train models. We do not use your resumes to train models either.

Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account exists. You can delete a resume at any time, and delete your whole account in the app under Settings, Delete account. This immediately deletes your account and all resumes from our database; backups roll over within 30 days. You can also email us to request deletion or a copy of your data.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or UK GDPR, or the CCPA), you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data, or object to processing. Email support@resumark.app and we will reply within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest in our database. Access is limited to the systems that need it.
Children
Resumark is not intended for children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and show the new date at the top.
