How does this checker work?

It looks for known skills, tools and certifications, plus phrases the job post repeats, then searches your resume for each one, including common variants such as "JS" and "JavaScript". It is a quick keyword pass, not a full review.

What does the full Resumark match add?

The app reads the job post the way a recruiter would: it weighs required against preferred skills, checks seniority and job title fit, scores you from 0 to 100, explains the gaps, and can rewrite your resume for the job while asking before it adds any skill.

Should I copy every missing keyword into my resume?

No. Add the ones you genuinely have, in the place they belong: a tool you used goes in the bullet where you used it, and in Skills. Keyword stuffing is easy for recruiters to spot and many ATS rank on context, not raw counts.
